Success for infoware at the IFAT, the world's leading trade fair for the environmental and waste disposal industry in Munich. From the 14th to the 18th of May we exhibited and delighted trade fair visitors with a visual highlight. In the center of our stall we had an Alfa Romeo GTV, which was presented in the yellow-black signal colors of a pilot vehicle, which pointed to our topic of the fair: MapTrip FollowMe, the navigation solution, with which waste trucks and clearing vehicles can follow even on the most complex routes.
Not only the beautiful car from Italy, but also our latest updates for MapTrip FollowMe were the subject of many inspiring discussions with trade visitors. The center of attention was our Editor, the tool to manage recurring tours. Complex tours can not only be created with this online tool, but also modified and then re-imported into the vehicles. Based on special events, the system transmits additional information during the tour. This gives the driver directions that go far beyond the standard navigation. The MapTrip FollowMe Editor created a lot of interest and demand at the IFAT.
We are also pleased with the positive feedback and suggestions for further development - and about a message that we announced at the fair. At the IFAT we concluded a cooperation agreement with the telematics provider AIS GmbH. "It is important to us that our customers can rely on proven systems with proven interfaces and do not have to worry about issues such as the search for a good and suitable navigation system," said Axel Schempp, CEO of AIS - who has found a suitable partner with infoware.
